Does the rate include breakfast?
Yes most rates include breakfast. We will provide you with a full Scottish Breakfast, freshly prepared to order, and using local produce.
Do you have ground floor rooms?
Yes all of our rooms are located on the ground floor. The only exception is 3 Premier Deluxe Rooms, which are located on the lower ground floor. Access to these rooms is by stairs only.
What are your check in and out times?
Check in Time is 15:00. Check out Time is 11:00 unless by prior arrangement, supplemental charges may apply.
How many rooms do you have?
There are 23 bedrooms in the Hotel.
Do all the rooms have a sea view?
Our sea-view rooms have stunning sea views.
Does the price include free wireless internet?
Free guest WiFi is available at the hotel.
What are the differences between the different types of rooms?
Rooms vary in size, occupancy, and some have sea-views, whilst others do not. All rooms are fully equipped with en-suites and all the latest technology, finished to the highest standards. See our guest rooms page for more information.
What in-room facilities are there?
Incorporated in all bedrooms are Shower or Shower/Bath, Telephone, WiFi access, Trouser Press, Iron and Ironing Board, Hair Dryer, In Room Safe, Heated Towel Rack, Mini Fridge, Room Energy Saver, Room Privacy Security, Early Morning Wake up Alarm, Tea & Coffee facilities, Travel cots on enquiry and Feather Pillows (Foam Pillows available on request). Do you allow pets?
Pet animals are not accepted unless assisting guests with disabilities.
Is smoking permitted?
For your comfort all rooms are Non Smoking and are fitted with state of the art Smoke and Fire Detection system. There are dedicated outdoor smoking areas for your convenience.

Does the room rate include VAT?
Yes. VAT is inclusive at the current rate.
What are your check in and out times?
Check-in Time is 15:00. Check-out Time is 11:00 unless prior arranged, supplement charges may apply.
How can I book a room?
Room booking can be done via our safe and secure online booking system, or by calling our team on 01592 892 222. Our best prices can be found online.
If I need to cancel my room will I have to pay?
This is largely dependant on the rate code booked under. Generally most rates will not be charged for the room as long as you cancel 48 hours before you are due to arrive. Some special, advance, pre-payment and discount rates incur penalties in whole or in part. Please refer to booking code terms and conditions for specific restrictions.
How can I pay?
We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards, with the exception of American Express. Although payment is generally required on departure, guests are required to provide a pre-authorisation on a valid credit card on arrival. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
How far ahead should I book?
In order to accommodate you in your room of choice, please let us know as early as possible. Booking ahead is always advisable.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children are always welcome in the Hotel.
Is there a Single Supplement?
There are no Single Supplement Charges.
Can I extend my break during my stay?
You can of course extend your stay. We would strongly recommend that you contact the Duty Receptionist as soon as possible to check availability if you are thinking of doing this.
What durations do you do and what days do they start from?
You can stay at the Hotel for one night or more. Please book online for our best prices and availability, or contact us on 01592 892 222.
I am arriving very late will there still be someone there to let me in?
Yes. The hotel is manned 24 hours per day and reception staff are available 07:00-23:00.

Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, for the hotel and restaurant. You can purchase Gift Vouchers online.
Are your hotel prices very competitive?
Yes, we like to think our prices are very competitive and great value.
Does your hotel accommodate all types of travellers?
Yes, we provide comfortable bed and breakfast/guest house accommodation for all types of travellers; holiday makers, business and corporate clients and also for people working in the area.
Travel
Do you have a Car Park?
Yes. There are plenty of parking spaces in the Hotel’s Free Private Car-Park.
Do I have to make my own travel arrangements?
If you require any assistance making travel arrangements throughout your stay, we will do our best to advise you.
How do we get to the hotel from Edinburgh Airport between 09:00 to 21:00?
Airport taxis are available 24 hours a day from either Edinburgh Airport terminal and will only cost approximately £55.00. Alternatively, you can contact us on 01592 892 222 and we will arrange a local Taxi to collect you.
Accessibility
Do you have disabled access?
Yes. There is wheelchair access throughout the hotel and we also have 2 fully adapted accessible Deluxe Bedrooms.
Do you have a lift?
Most of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor. However, there is a lift which will take you to our Horizons Restaurant, Waterfront Lounge Bar and Heritage Suite.
Eating and drinking
Is food available throughout the day?
Our Seaview Restaurant serves delicious food all day.
I'm vegetarian, is there anything for me in the restaurant?
Yes. We always provide options for our vegetarian diners. See our menu page.
I'm not a resident of the hotel but would like a drink in the Waterfront Bar and/or a Meal in the Horizons Restaurant, is this possible?
Of course! We welcome all with a smile.
What times is breakfast served?
Full Scottish Breakfast is served from 08:00 - 10:00 every day. Early breakfasts or continental breakfasts can be pre-arranged with reception for early departures from 07:00 – 08:00 daily.
Are children allowed in the bar?
Yes. Children are allowed in the Waterfront Lounge when accompanied by an adult.
Facilities
Do you have grounds?
Yes. We have several designated Patio and Balcony areas for guests to enjoy, with views over the Firth of Forth and Forth Bridges.
How far are local pubs and restaurants?
You can walk into Kinghorn in 10 minutes, or Burntisland in 20 minutes. Alternatively, ask the on-duty receptionist to organise a local taxi to take you.
Does the local town have a post office and banks with currency exchange?
Yes, the banks and post office are open 09:00 to 17:00 weekdays and 09:00 to 13:00 on a Saturday – they are closed on Bank Holidays & Sundays.
Does the local town have launderette and dry cleaning?
Just 25 meters around the corner from the hotel, there is a launderette with coin operated machines. There is also a same-day Dry Cleaning Service available at the Hotel for your convenience.
Is the Old Manor Hotel cleaned regularly?
Yes spotlessly. Every room is fully cleaned every day, and we use an outside laundry company for all our linen and towels so they are new and fresh all the time.
Does the price include free wireless internet?
Free guest WIFI is available at the hotel. Pay WiFi is also available.
I am not leaving until later in the day - can I leave my luggage with you until I depart?
Yes, we can store you luggage throughout the day until you leave.
How can I keep in touch with friends and family back home?
With direct-dial telephones and internet access in every room, keeping in touch with your friends and family could not be easier.
What hours is reception open?
Reception is open between 07:00 and 23:00. Our Night Porter is available between 23:00 and 07:00.
Do you arrange sightseeing tours?
We can help you enjoy your stay by providing you with up-to-date guides to Fife, free maps and advice on finding your way around. Please email us with any travel queries you may have. However, at present we do not run sightseeing tours. See our things to see and do page for more information.
Are children allowed in the pool?
Yes. However, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Do you deliver early morning newspapers?
There is no paper delivery service.
Is there a cash point in the Hotel?
Yes. It is located in the main complex at the side of the main office.

What entertainment do you provide in the hotel?
Most weekends we have entertainment on Friday and Saturday.
